Nest Thermostat

Had a Nest Thermostat for a few years.

It has half packed in, meaning that rotating the dial no longer works, but adjusting temperature on-line still works fine.

So removed it, took it to bits to find it had quite a bit or water in it. Cleaned it all out but still fails to work manually.

After a lot of thinking, think I have worked out the issue. Wife has a new steam iron and iron's clothes right next to it, so don't iron cloths next to a nest thermostat, will cost £180 for a new one now

Totally pissed off
