Default would love to see commando on vu duo

im a commando image user through and through and ive recently purchased a vu duo
there is nothing wrong with the vix3.0 i am currently using,
although it would be nice to see the gang here show what there made of
    on this newer box!

not sure how it compares to dreambox with dual tuners..
but what ive used so far, its a really good quality box and ive had
a freeze free experience using it so far.

would commando ever move over to vu duo too?

    resurrecting thread:

any chance of seeing commando on vu duo?
currently using one of these boxes but not really into the scene anymore..

however if commando was on vu duo that would be a different matter!

any ideas on if it would ever happen, or if not, the reasons?

Fatty and Pikey have been making efforts to get N2HD onto DM800SE platform, and if that were to be successful, then I'd hazard a guess that N2 images for other Linux HD boxes would soon follow on...

As I understand the situation, things have come to a grinding halt on dev some months ago, on account of a capmtserver binary for mipsels processors being non-existent. Meaning CCcam cannot work...

My own personal feeling on this is "So what? Back in 2009 when Gbox suddenly stopped working on cable dBox2, did we all throw our boxes in the skip? No, we switched back to evocamd or mgcamd and kept things going for a few more months, remember?"

Let's remove the blinkers and kiss goodbye to CCcam in N2 if it cannot be made to work 'yet'. And build-in support for oscam and mgcamd instead? After all, oscam can run CCcam protocol anyway! I seem to remember LraiZer making a similar suggestion many moons back, in respect of running with oscam to at least get things moving.

Only my two penny worth, but it would be nice to see this project moving again. Might even think about getting one myself, if the pennies allow it, LOL!

    Cheers- AL
