Default Vu Duo+ end of life?

Im wondering if my Vu Duo+ has any life left in it for the punch it used to pack before it was crushed by the power ridden providers themselves

what once was my baby, it is now an old paperweight sat in my setup switched off at the back!

My smart TV has taken over with the appropriate apps.. (SmartIPTV)

My vu duo was once my pride and joy, now i dont do anything with the old girl..

The Duo is a bit slow by today's standards. You may be able to run IPTV OK, maybe better to use a lighter image. OpenPLi 4 is still available for those and is quite light - just add the bits you need and remove stuff that you don't

IPTV is the future, cable now playing with the HD sports channels.

Even legit TV through sly and virmin will go iptv eventually, far cheaper than maintaining mega sat transponder lease charges.

nope - i have never tried IPTV on the box its just switched off.

would it only be able to used to stream only or could the HDD record function become a functionality compatible with IPTV?
