Sunray SR4 Triple Tuner

I have blown the dust off my Sunray SR4 Triple Tuner (DM800se clone) and had a play with it.

I have only ever used it for satellite but thought I would play with the C and T side of the tuner.

It appears the best way to use the C and T side of it is to manipulate the satellites.xml for scanning on C and T, meaning do not bother with the test trial tuner driver, which means do not use cables.xml or terestial.xml.

So the trick is, in the satellites.xml, put an "01" in front of the frequency and set inversion to "0" for C or inversion to "1" for T

For QAM256 set fec_inner="5" for QAM64 set fec_inner="0"

Anyway, after using Lraizers nit scan cable script and dvbsnoop, I have produced a custom satellites.xml and finally scanned in over 500 services.

Not played with the T side yet.

Anyone else on here got a Sunray SR4 and played with the triple tuner?

I'm deej01 on another forum, I had it working the way you say as well ss. But preferred the older image for using both tuners. Can't remember why though. Is it because your setup uses tuner in advance mode and uses cable only.

I did a long time ago. Had to change the frequency settings as you mention, so AB didn't work. It's not for the novice

I think the issue was that the experimental triple tuner driver only worked on oe 1.6, anything above didn't work on QAM256.

So if you want to use a newer image, you have to manipulate the satellites.xml for C and T and not use the triple experimental driver.

As lincsat says, AB for cable sort of works, it finds the channels and creates the bouquets, but cannot actually tune into them as it produces them in true cable format and not manipulated satellite format.

I have it working now with PLI 4.0, just a lot of messing about though. I haven't used a bouquet editor since Dbox2 days!

There is some good info on the dreamoem forum, but it has been offline for the last 2 days.

I found using the script by LraiZer brought in frequencies that were not accurate.

I used ABM, then inspected lamed5.

I was using both of lraizers autobouquets sat and cable but as mentioned image was old oe1.6

Any chance you can assist with adding these cable entries to the sat file please? I'm in ex-cw area.
